Mereana Clarke — author of the Jasino review
How the review is written
- The base is what the operator publishes: promotion terms, the cashier, the game catalogue and the help centre.
- What is not published as a fixed number — deadlines, limits per method — is written as «see the terms», never as a figure.
- Amounts are in NZD, as a Kiwi player sees them.
The rating: how we get to 7.3
Five criteria with fixed weights; their weighted mean is the rating on the page and in the structured data. If one score changes, the total changes, which is why the whole table is here.
| Criterion | Weight | Score | What we measured |
|---|---|---|---|
| Games & pokies | 25% | 8.4 | 9,000+ titles from 234 providers, live casino, crash and a sportsbook |
| Bonus & wagering | 20% | 8.0 | 140% + 220 free spins at a low 10x wagering requirement |
| Payments & payouts | 20% | 7.6 | cards, Apple/Google Pay, e-wallets and eight cryptos; a reference USDT payout in ~12 minutes |
| Mobile & support | 15% | 7.0 | full lobby in the mobile browser, 24/7 support; no native app |
| Licence & trust | 20% | 5.2 | Anjouan licence since 2026 only — a new brand, not a New Zealand regulator |
| Final rating | 100% | 7.3 | weighted mean of the criteria |
Sources
The operator's published terms of the welcome offer, general terms, cashier page and help section are the primary source for the figures in the review; the ~12-minute USDT payout is a reference test, not one of ours. For games, each title's own info panel (RTP, volatility, bet limits) counts for more than the lobby blurb. For the helpline, the source is the Gambling Helpline itself.
The experience behind the rating
Before writing about casinos, Mereana worked in the payments team of an iGaming operator, handling delayed withdrawals and explaining to players why a payout had stopped. Most of the complaints she saw were not about games but about limits nobody had read or details that did not match a player's ID — which is why every review here starts with the cashier.
What we check before every update
- The welcome offer. Percentage, free spins and their game, wagering, deadline and maximum bet with a bonus active — from the offer's own terms, not from banners.
- The cashier. Which methods show for an NZD account, which cryptos and networks are accepted, whether withdrawals go back to the deposit method, and whether verification has changed.
- The catalogue. Whether the providers named on the page are still in the lobby and whether Aviator is still in the crash section.
- The licence. The licensing body and the operating companies as the operator declares them in its footer.
What we don't do
We don't publish «player testimonials» or user ratings that cannot be checked. We don't write numbers the operator doesn't publish, we don't explain how to get around restrictions, and we don't present the casino as licensed in New Zealand, because it is not.
How mistakes are corrected
If something on the page stops being true — an offer changes, a payment method is removed — the fix goes into the next update, the «Updated» date changes and, if it affects a criterion, the rating is recalculated.
Independence
The page is funded by affiliate links. The commission does not change the rating: Jasino's weakest points — an Anjouan licence and a 2026 launch — are stated openly and cost it points. No brand pays for a better position or a higher score.
